VOICES Building Bridges Luncheon – Honoring Bob Woodruff

Join us at VOICES Building Bridges Luncheon at the Country Club of New Canaan, as we recognize Bob Woodruff, Emmy Award-Winning Journalist and ABC News Anchor. The event is Wednesday, April 10, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm
VOICES is presenting Bob with the 2024 Building Bridges Award for the fortitude he demonstrated after suffering a traumatic brain injury, and his subsequent resolve to making a difference in the lives of veterans.
In 2006, Bob was reporting in Iraq during the Gulf War when his armored vehicle was hit by an IED. Since then, Bob and his wife Lee co-authored the book, In An Instant, A Family’s Journey of Love and Healing, while also establishing the Bob Woodruff Foundation to support veterans returning from the battlefield.
The luncheon also includes a Broadway performance by Ali Ewoldt and David Hancock Turner.
