Choosing Design: Three Generations of Creative Entrepreneurs brings together long-time New Canaan resident, Jackie Shapiro, and her daughter, Dolly Meckler, for a festive luncheon at the New Canaan Museum & Historical Society. Jackie is the founder and designer of French Bull, a lifestyle brand with the motto, “Live Vivid,” that offers high quality goods to encourage customers to be their most colorful, fun, and authentic selves. Dolly Meckler is the founder of digitally native bread brand “Challah Dolly,” creator and host of podcast “You Have Such a Pretty Face,” and Co-Founder of Snaplistings (a social media based real estate agency). Hear how each generation has developed her own sense of style and design, built a business that reflects her personal aesthetic, been influenced by life in a midcentury modern home in New Canaan, and managed to love what she does. The tickets are $95 for Museum Members or $110 for Non-Members, and includes a catered lunch by Diane Browne with wine.
