Join The Town Players of New Canaan and The Armonk Players this weekend for their production of Tuesdays With Morrie on the Powerhouse Theatre stage.
Tuesdays With Morrie tells the story of one-time sportswriter Mitch Albom and his visits with Morrie Schwartz, a former college sociology professor whom Albom reconnects with after discovering that Schwartz has amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
What was to be a one-time visit between the two turns into recurring meetings that are always on Tuesdays and chronicle their heartfelt and emotional discussions about the purpose of life, regrets, and death.
Performances are scheduled for tonight (Friday, November 3) at 7 p.m., tomorrow (Saturday, November 4) at 7 p.m. and Sunday, November 5 at 4 p.m. Tickets are priced at $20 and are still available for all three shows. Purchase tickets by clicking here.
