It’s been a long winter of bad weather and COVID-19 isolation for many in New Canaan, but residents are still getting outside for walks and other forms of exercise as often as possible.
In one New Canaan yard, this impressive snowman keeps watch and hopes for more cold weather even though many in the community are already looking forward to an early arrival of warmer spring temperatures.
It appears the snowman will get his wish later this week, with snow in the forecast for much of the tri-state area for most of Thursday and possibly Friday morning. New Canaan residents should expect high temperatures at or near freezing for Saturday and Sunday with warmer temperatures on the horizon of early next week.
The arrival of warmer weather will mean this snowman will disappear until next winter, news that will bring a warm glow to most New Canaan residents!
