The Glass House

On Thurs., November 21, we invited CT and Westchester influencers and reporters new to New Canaan to an exclusive, VIP tour of The Glass House to learn more about this New Canaan gem and the many great reasons #LIVENEWCANAAN.

The morning began with a short presentation from local architect/author/Town Council member Cristina Ross who spoke about the town’s history with modern architecture – including her own personal experience with Phillip Johnson and the impact it had on her career. Attendees then had a driving tour through town, seeing several modern homes on the way, before beginning their tour of The Glass House presented by Christa Carr, communications director. The day ended with a delicious meal at Elm, allowing the attendees to experience the great food, walkability and many offerings on Elm Street.
