The month of March means it’s time to celebrate syrup at the New Canaan Nature Center.
Syrup Saturday is Saturday, March 11 at the Nature Center and families are invited to participate in the annual Pancakes & PJs Party that starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m.
Join the Nature Center staff for a variety of syrup season activities, including a tree-tapping demonstration, a maple sap boil down, sweet maple inspired crafts, real vs. fake syrup taste tests, and a roaring campfire where you can enjoy roasted marshmallows and keep warm.
Come in your favorite pair of pajamas and bring an appetite because we’ll be serving fresh pancakes that can be smothered in warm maple syrup and a variety of delicious toppings.
Tickets are $10 for Nature Center members and $15 for non-members and can be purchased here. If you plan to attend, remember that every adult and child must have a ticket.
