If you need a unique gift idea for someone on your holiday shopping list, there are two events in New Canaan this weekend where you might be able to find exactly what you’re looking for.
Here’s where you can go shopping:
New Canaan Artisans Holiday Boutique
The annual event begins on Friday (November 19th) with a preview showing from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Roger Sherman Inn (195 Oenoke Ridge Road). The preview costs $10 per person, but it will allow you to be among the first to see the home decor, knitted sweaters, needlepoint, embroidered linens, table decorations, and aprons that are available for purchase.
The boutique continues on Saturday (November 20th) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There’s no admission charge on Saturday. All proceeds for the boutique will be used to support nonprofit organizations in Fairfield County.
New Canaan Nature Center Holiday Market
The Holiday Market opens at the Nature Center on Saturday (November 20th) at 10 a.m. and continues until 5 p.m. It’s the second year for the event after a successful debut in 2020.
The free event will be indoors and feature jewelry, clothing, chocolates, and a whole lot more.
The School of Rock band will be on hand to perform festive holiday music. Get out early and find everything you need for your friends and family.
