Mark your calendars for an evening to remember at the “Breeches & Bowties” Gala on May 4, 2024, hosted by the New Canaan Mounted Troop (NCMT) at the Wee Burn Beach Club. This celebration marks 85 remarkable years of NCMT’s dedication to fostering leadership, responsibility, and confidence in youth, as well as supporting individuals with special needs through equine-assisted activities. The Gala will honor Georgina Bloomberg, renowned for her contributions as a professional equestrian, philanthropist, author, and animal activist.
Since its inception, NCMT has been committed to enriching lives through its distinctive programs, including Super Troopers for those with special needs and Troopers for youth development in equine care and riding. These initiatives have positively impacted over 300 individuals annually, reinforcing the profound connection between humans and horses.
Your support during this Gala will not only celebrate NCMT’s longstanding legacy but also ensure the continuation of its transformative programs and the welfare of the 28 horses and ponies that call NCMT home.
