If you look forward to the New Canaan Rotary Club’s annual Lobsterfest dinner each year, you can save 10% on this year’s meal by purchasing tickets in advance by Friday, September 24th.
The 36th annual Lobsterfest is scheduled for Friday, October 15th, and Saturday, October 16th.
There will be three ways for people to enjoy this year’s lobster, salmon, or fried chicken dinners:
People can dine-in at the Waveny Park Pool Pavilion (reservations are required), pick up their orders curbside, or get their meals delivered to their home if they purchase a minimum of 8 dinners. There will be no walk-up sales.
Wine and beer can also be purchased to serve with your meal.
Gift cards for friends are also available, and “thank you” meals can be purchased for local first responders. Donations can be made here for people who are unable to attend.
The Rotary Club has enlisted the help of Fjord’s Seafood and Walter Stewart’s Market to help with the food preparation, cooking, and packaging this year. Traditionally, Rotary volunteers donated their time to do all the prep, cooking, and clean-up, but the health events of the last 18 months have caused Rotary officials to take a different approach.
The Lobsterfest is the Rotary’s Club primary fundraiser and proceeds from the event are used to award grants to numerous local and international organizations.
