It’s time once again for New Canaan residents to enjoy the 41st annual photography show at the Carriage Barn Arts Center.
Beginning Saturday, January 30th, the Carriage Barn will feature the photography of professional, amateur, and student picture-taking enthusiasts. The work of 80 photographers have been selected for this year’s vshow.
The juror for this year’s show will be Kathryn McCarver Root, owner of KMR Arts in Washington Depot, CT.
Root’s gallery showcases vintage and contemporary photography from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
Guests can view the exhibits in person beginning Saturday through February 27th. The Arts Center is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Indoor capacity will be limited to 25 guests at a time. Face coverings are required for entry.
People can view the photographs virtually at https://carriagebarn.org/. A virtual preview for patrons and collectors will be hosted on Zoom by the Carriage Barn and Root on Friday, January 29th at 6 p.m.
