If you haven’t been in downtown New Canaan in June, there are some amazing works of art on display in the windows of more than 70 local businesses.
New Canaan’s annual Art in the Windows exhibit kicked off on June 2 and will continue until Saturday, June 24. People who are shopping or visiting a local restaurant can view all of the artwork through the local storefront windows. If you prefer a virtual tour, you can click here.
If a particular piece catches your eye, all 125 pieces of art that are displayed can be purchased. Fifty percent of the proceeds from every sale benefit the Carriage Barn Art Center.
Other local sponsors include the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Karl Chevrolet, Hutchinson Tree Care Specialists, and Jones Ferrante at Houlihan Lawrence.
