Avid book readers in New Canaan take note!
Some of the leading publishing companies in the country will be at the New Canaan Library on Thursday, June 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. to publicize the titles their houses will be published this summer and fall.
The library’s Summer Book Buzz will feature representatives from Hachette Book Group, Harper Collins, MacMillan, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, W.W. Norton & Co., and Workman Publishing.
Doors to the library’s Curtis Gallery will open at 6:15 p.m. so get there early if you’d like. Attendees will be seated at tables. Wine and cheese will be served until 7 p.m. when the agents will visit each table to pitch the summer reading titles their companies will be producing.
Already published titles will be available, courtesy of Elm Street Book Store.
