Apparently, Mother Nature has no interest in allowing New Canaan to celebrate the Fourth of July with its annual fireworks show.
The town announced Friday afternoon (July 9th) that the community’s Family Fourth of July Celebration that had already been postponed once to this Sunday (July 11th), has been postponed again because of soggy conditions at Waveny Park and the threat of more thunderstorms this weekend.
The town plans to announce a new date for the show soon, so stay tuned.
