The New Canaan Nature Center’s sixth annual Lecture & Lunch event on Thursday, May 11 is sure to include some motherly advice.
The guest speaker will be Barbara “Babs” Costello, a 73-year-old mother and grandmother who has skyrocketed to TikTok fame for her humorous and home-spun posts about cooking, kitchen hacks, and other feel-good content.
You can listen to Costello talk about her meteoric rise from retired schoolteacher to internet sensation beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Country Club of New Canaan. The event ends at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here and all proceeds from the event support the Nature Center and its mission of inspiring people to respect and enjoy nature.
