The biggest event on the Rotary Club of New Canaan’s calendar will be here before you know it.
The club’s 38th annual Lobsterfest is scheduled for Friday, September 29, and Saturday, September 30 at the Steve Benko Pool Pavilion at Waveny Park and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Now is the time to purchase your meals and decide if you want to eat at the Benko Pool Pavilion, pick up your meals curb-side and take them home, or have them delivered right to your door if you order eight meals or more. Order early and receive a 10% discount at checkout.
Choose from these four mouth-watering dinners:
Steamed Lobster: A 1¼-pound lobster, fresh corn on the cob, cole slaw, and dessert. You’ll also get a bib and melted butter.
Cold Lobster Salad Roll: Lobster meat tossed with scallion mayonnaise on a grilled bun, potato chips, cole slaw, and dessert.
Grilled Salmon: Fresh-caught Atlantic salmon, fresh corn on the cob, cole slaw, and dessert.
Fried Chicken: Breast and either a wing or leg, potato salad, cole slaw, cornbread, sauce, and a cookie.
People can also say thank you to local First Responders by purchasing meals for members of the police department, fire department, volunteer ambulance corps, a healthcare worker at Waveny Lifecare, or a driver of a GETABOUT van.
