Get in the holiday spirit at the New Canaan Nature Center’s 15th annual Winter Wonderland celebration on Saturday, December 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The yearly event is packed with fun and exciting winter holiday activities for the entire family. Register here. Cost is $10 per person for Nature Center members and $15 per person for non-members. Weather conditions will not postpone the event.
Here are some of the activities that the family can enjoy:
- Santa will be on hand for visits and photos
- Enjoy our giant model train that travels through the town of New Canaan
- Sit by a roaring fire and roast marshmallows
- Holiday crafts for the kids
- Play a series or Reindeer Games
- Go on a Wacky Winterland scavenger hunt
- Get a bite to eat at the Red & Green Cafe. The menu includes grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, and hot coffee and cocoa
- Or take a ride on the new Roaming Railroad (additional $5 charge per person)
