SUMMARY:St. Mark’s Ned Tipton Will Play Virtual Organ Recital for The American Cathedral in Paris
DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, February 5 at 1PM EST\, (19h00 Paris time) The American Cathedral in Paris will premiere a year-long series of monthly concerts celebrating music ministry through their many distinguished former organists. The inaugural concert will be in the hands of St. Mark’s Director\, Music Ministry\, Ned Tipton\, who for more than twenty years (1989-2010) was the Cathedral’s Canon for Music. Prior to his virtual concert on the St. Mark’s organ\, Ned will speak for a few minutes about his years in Paris at the console of the legendary Cavaillé-Coll organ that has lifted the Cathedral’s worship since the end of the nineteenth century. \nThe half-hour concerts are free\, but registration is required. DESCRIPTION:The First Annual Alumni Fundraising Gala will be streamed on Saturday\, February 27th at 7 PM and will feature a talent-packed cast. Broadway veteran and Hello Girls! Director Judy McLane and talented NCHS Theatre alumni who have performed across the United States and on Broadway will be returning to raise funds for the program. \nThe alumni include Kate Simone (2005)\, Christian Libonati (2003)\, Lucy Horton (2004)\, Christy Coco (2013)\, Jenny Daly (2016)\, Allie Demers (2017)\, Jacob Freedgood (2016)\, Will and Ben Dooley (2018 & 2020) and more! \nThe Fundraising Gala will also feature a special appearance by the NCHS cast of Oklahoma! \nTicket holders will be emailed a streaming link on the day of the performance.
