SUMMARY:Cocktails for a Cure – A Benefit for Pancreatic Cancer Research
DESCRIPTION:Cocktails for a Cure\, a special fundraiser for the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research\, will be held at the Carriage Barn Arts Center on Friday\, November 11th. The evening will include great food and drinks\, a silent auction\, research news\, loving tributes\, and inspirational survivor stories. Along with music\, there will be entertainment by comedian John Ziegler who is also a survivor! \nThe event is co-hosted by longtime New Canaan resident Anne Hamilton\, whose husband Neil was diagnosed with stage 3 advanced inoperable pancreatic cancer in 2017\, but is now celebrating his fourth year in remission. “Pancreatic cancer has touched so many in our community\, we want everyone diagnosed with this hideous disease to have the best possible outcome.” The Lustgarten Foundation is the largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research. Their mission is to transform pancreatic cancer into a curable disease. \nTickets are now available\, as are numerous sponsorship opportunities for local businesses. No donation is too small for this worthy cause. 100% of all ticket sales and donations fund research.
