The Flower Show at the Carriage Barn

Please join us at The Carriage Barn Arts Center for a special summer exhibit “The Flower Show” on view June 10 – July 8. “The Flower Show” features the work of 25 artists highlighting creative interpretations of flowers and botanicals in contemporary environments. On Friday, June 23 featured artist Christian Peltenburg-Brechneff will present a lecture and sign copies of his book “Into The Garden.” In this book Peltenburg-Brechneff, who’s paintings appear in public and private collections worldwide including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, pays homage to the resplendent beauty of the garden and the visionaries who created them. “Into the Garden” invites readers to take an unprecedented around-the-world exploration into the splendor of tantalizing private gardens rendered through the artist’s vivid expressions and gestures in watercolor, oil, and gouache.
