Mixed Media Color explorations at the Carriage Barn Arts Center

Ages 4-6: Three Tuesdays, April 13-27 from 4-5pm
$150 for family members, $165 non-members (all materials provided)
We’re offering sessions for two age groups of this special art class to coincide with the Carriage Barn’s “Ode To Color” exhibit. Kids will explore and learn about using COLOR in various media and artistic styles. Weekly projects will incorporate mixing paint, collage and fiber arts while learning about and taking inspiration from important historical and contemporary artists.
Each week the group will be inspired by famous artists as well as work in the exhibit, and experiment in that style and medium to complete a project. Students will work with paint, paper and scissors, fabric and found objects.
The Instructor is New Canaan artist and teacher Anita Bausman. Anita creates a relaxed environment for students to share their ideas, try new things, and express themselves freely.
