Intro to DSLR Cameras
May 18, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
$155Strengthen your photo abilities in this 3 week digital camera intensive. Whether you use photography as reference material or the final product of your work, this online workshop will give participants the confidence to photograph with manual controls rather than the “automatic” digital settings we have come to trust. The Digital Single Lens Reflux (DSLR) camera is a powerful tool that can produce a wide range of compositional and aesthetic possibilities. Learn the foundational concepts of photography and how to apply them to achieve ideal images using depth of field, exposure controls, and light metering.
This workshop will use universal concepts that will apply to all makes and models of DSLR (Nikon, Canon, Hasselblad, etc). Recommended shooting assignments will be supplied for those who wish to follow along outside of meeting time but participation is not requited. All participants will receive handouts of the concepts covered in class.
