This one day hands on workshop invites artists to explore observational printmaking by working from a model. Observational monotype provides an opportunity for printmakers to let go of the stringent laws of printmaking and for painters to explore the world of possibilities that printmaking offers. This workshop is welcome to experienced printmakers wanting to work from a model and for beginner printmakers wanting guidence into exploring monotype. Oil and water based printing are welcome.

MEAGHAN MORROW received her Associates Degree in Graphic Design and illustration at Pratt Institute Manhattan, then moved onto complete her BFA in Illustration at Pratt Institute Brooklyn. Through pursuing illustration, Meaghan explored print techniques as a medium for illustration and quickly grew a love for collaborative printmaking. After returning to her home town of Stamford, Meaghan began working for the Center for Contemporary Printmaking. For the past five years she has been working as the Workshop Coordinator, Assistant Printer, and Media Coordinator; working collaboratively with instructors and artist members to create one of a kind fine art prints.
