Expect Frigid Temperatures at Christmas Eve Caroling ceremony

One of New Canaan’s most cherished traditions – the annual Christmas Eve caroling ceremony at God’s Acre – is scheduled for Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

But if you plan to attend this year’s ceremony, be prepared to dress for frigid weather conditions. Temperatures at the time of Saturday’s service are forecast to be in the mid to low teens and there could be areas of snow and ice in parking areas and on sidewalks and paths.

The New Canaan Town band will once again be on hand to lead carolers in some of the season’s most recognizable songs.
