Enjoy a family-friendly winter concert featuring Sonora Collective on Saturday, February 24 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Classically trained New York City-based musicians, Sonora Collective, will create memorable chamber music experiences you won’t want to miss.
The night will feature a seasonal music series curated by Music Director Marcus G. Miller, which started in 2023 with a winter jazz performance from multi-instrumentalist Irwin Hall and was later performed at a summer blues concert by King Solomon Hicks.

The Sonora Collective
Located in New York City, Sonora Collective is a group of musicians collaborating with contemporary artists to produce distinctive classical chamber music concerts. Clarinetist Amy Wang, violinist Julia Danitz, and flutist Katie Althen established Sonora Collective in 2020.
They hold concerts in art galleries and other unique venues throughout NYC. The Collective specializes in crafting custom concert programs that resonate with the ambiance of each performance space. They work closely with living composers to develop new musical compositions inspired by visual art. The Collective’s roster boasts award-winning musicians who have performed on prestigious stages globally, including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Sonora Collective also includes members from renowned ensembles like the New York Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.
