Democrats Haskell, Dathan to appear at New Canaan Town Hall

Connecticut State Senator Will Haskell, who has the distinction of being the youngest member of the General Assembly, and State Representative Lucy Dathan will participate in a town hall meeting Wednesday, September 22nd in the Curtis Gallery of the New Canaan Library.

Haskell and Dathan will discuss the 2021 legislative session and answer questions from audience members. The one-hour event will begin at 6 p.m. No registration is required.

Haskell was elected in 2018 to represent the 26th State Senate District, which includes Bethel Redding, Ridgefield, Westport, Wilton, and portions of New Canaan and Weston.

Haskell, who chairs the Senate Transportation Committee, attended public school in Westport before graduating from Georgetown University.

Dathan was also elected in 2018 to represent the 142nd House District. The district includes sections of New Canaan and Norwalk.

Dathan moved to New Canaan in 2015 with her husband and three children after spending more than 20 years in the San Francisco Bay area working as an auditor, Certified Public Accountant, and financier for a variety of investment banks and technology companies.
