The New Canaan Library is delighted to announce an exclusive event with renowned celebrity chef, restaurateur, and author, Lidia Bastianich on April 25th from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. During this special evening, Ms. Bastianich will delve into her life stories and her latest culinary masterpiece, “Lidia’s: From Our Family Table to Yours,” co-written with her daughter, Tanya Bastianich Manuali. The cookbook offers a heartfelt compilation of over a hundred cherished family recipes and tales, many of which pay homage to her late mother, a significant influence on Lidia’s culinary journey. Described as a tribute to her mother, this book promises an intimate look into the dishes Lidia cherishes most, offering a blend of family heritage and culinary delight.
Following her talk, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Ms. Bastianich during a Q&A session and book signing. The event also features benefactor tickets, granting exclusive access to meet Ms. Bastianich and enjoy Italian aperitivos. Every ticket comes with a copy of her deeply personal cookbook, celebrating the unifying power of food.
