Veteran stage, screen, and television actor Will Jeffries will star in BARRYMORE by William Luce beginning Friday, February 25 at the Powerhouse Theatre in New Canaan.
Jeffries, pictured at right, will portray an aging John Barrymore as he reflects on a star-crossed career of great artistic success on stage and in films, and a personal life of alcoholism, four failed marriages, and bankruptcy.
The Powerhouse Theatre in Waveny Park will host six performances of BARRYMORE over the last weekend in February (25-27) and the first weekend in March (4-6). The shows on Friday (February. 25 and March 4) and Saturday (February 26 and March 5) will begin at 8 p.m. The Sunday matinees (February 27 and March 6) begin at 2 p.m.
