Despite New Canaan First Selectman Kevin Moynihan’s recent health scare, the Breakfast with the First Selectman event set for Wednesday, April 27 at the Elm Restaurant will proceed as scheduled.
Moynihan was hospitalized this past weekend after reportedly suffering a mild stroke. But Laura Budd, the executive director of the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce which is sponsoring the breakfast, said she hasn’t received any notice from Moynihan’s office that the event will be rescheduled or canceled.
Moynihan will address local business leaders and take questions at the breakfast, which is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased here.
