Who will win Heat 2 of the Gates Battle of the Bands in New Canaan this Saturday?
If you’re looking to get out of the house, have a drink, and listen to some great live music this weekend, Gates Restaurant & Bar on Forest Street is the place to be.
Heat 2 of the three-weekend competition features the bands Grandpa Moses and Mind The Gap beginning at 8:30 p.m. Radio personality Jon Kamal will emcee the event.
Heat 1 of the competition was won by the band Rock Paper Soul on January 15. Heat 3 will feature the bands Major Trends and All Night Thing on January 29. The winners of Heat 2 and 3 will join Rock Paper Soul in the finale on February 5 where the three bands will go head-to-head before a panel of judges to determine the champion.
The Meals on Wheels, New Canaan program will receive 50 percent of the proceeds from ticket sales to the finale on February 5. There is no admission fee to the 3 heats.
