Even in times of crisis, the show must go on!
Art In The Windows, presented by the Carriage Barn Arts Center, is underway in downtown New Canaan Shops. Be sure to enjoy the beautiful artwork until July 4th. Not only is Art In The Windows a celebration of artists, but it’s also a celebration of more freedom as the region starts to cautiously emerge from the COVID-19 restrictions.
Special events at this year’s Art In The Windows includes chalk art showcases, artist demos, and community voting for best window displays. Artists and select shops will be on a program for all viewers, as well as postcards given out by the Chamber of Commerce. During the event, New Canaan stores and restaurants will be serving outdoor and take-out dining for guests to enjoy.
Art In The Windows is organized by the New Canaan Society for the Arts, as is designed to showcase artists in the area and represent the community they live in. As part of their mission to promote the visual and performing arts, and to enrich the community through exhibitions, education, and cultural experiences, this project truly has local business in its eyes!
